    Submit the application on OVO's website. Eligible credits begin after OVO starts supplying energy.

A $180 bill credit on the EV Plan or EV Plan +100%. EV and communicating smart meter requirements apply.

The referral applies where the referred customer starts their first energy market contract with OVO in New South Wales, South Australia, Victoria or Queensland. Under the current terms, a previous occupant having used OVO at the address does not appear to disqualify the new customer; OVO makes the final eligibility decision.

How does OVO Energy Refer a Friend work?

Open the referral link and confirm OVO shows “SHARE THE LOVE” and “Code active”. Choose an eligible plan and complete your sign-up on OVO's website. Once OVO starts supplying your energy, it applies the referral credit in 12 monthly instalments.

Who receives the referral credit?

How is the credit paid?

OVO applies the credit in 12 monthly instalments after supply starts. Free 4 Plan is in the standard $120 referral tier. Leaving early means the remaining instalments are forfeited.

Can it be combined with another credit?

No. OVO says the referral credit cannot be combined with another credit offer, such as a Welcome Credit.

Does this site collect my details?

This site does not ask you to submit your name, address, OVO account details or payment information. It uses a language-preference cookie and aggregate analytics as explained in the Privacy page.
